Michael Jordan is overrated!!

He’s a great player, let me just say that now before someone blows a head gasket, I just don’t feel he is the greatest of all time. He's not the best shooter, ballhander, scorer, defender, passer, rebounder, blocker. Jordan's not even #1 in rings. Michael Jordan was 1-9 without Pippen. In fact the Bulls still made the playoffs winning 55 games without him. It was the only reason he came back cuz he saw Pippen was carrying the team without him. So how is he the greatest of all time in so many's eyes?

Bill Russel 11 rings, Sam Jones 10, Tom Heinsohn 8, K. C. Jones 8, Tom Sanders 8, John Havlicek 8, Jim Loscutoff 7, Frank Ramsey 7, Robert Horry 7, Bob Cousy 6, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 6, tied with MJ and Scottie with 6. And there is a bunch of people with 5 rings, 4 rings and so on. Please stop comparing titles like Jordan is the only person to win a championship.

Kareem even did a better movie than Jordan. Kareem did Game of Death with Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee son!. Jordan did a cartoon with bunnies and pigs. His acting was horrific and the movie was not worth watching more than once. I can watch Game of Death over and over again.

Jordan ain't all that great to me. People act like he created the jumpshot. Couldn't win nothing until Bird retired, and the Lakers got old, and until he got Pippen. He struggled on the pistons. The year he sat out with a broken foot they still made the playoffs. Then he left the bulls and they would have made it to the finals had not been for being cheated on a foul.

Now Lebron takes a Cavs team to the finals with minimum talent. Leaves and they became the worst team in the league. Takes Miami to 4 straight finals, and now they can't make the playoffs without him. Not to mention Lebron won 2 state champs in HS when MJ got cut from his varsity team. Jordan good, but anyone with a jumpshot could of played in his spot and they would of still won some championships.

Skill set wise, I would not put Micheal Jordan over a whole lot of players. Iverson, Kobe, Tracy McGrady, Magic Johnson, Steve Nash to say the least…all had much better footwork, passing, and dribble better than Jordan. If I were to play a game on NBA 2K, (cuz lets face it, anyone reading this never stood a chance to play/coach in the NBA) as my scorer I would pick Tracy McGrady from a choice of Steve Francis, MJ, Kobe, Iverson, Lebron James, Kevin Durrant, Steph Curry, Vince Carter, Julius Irving

4*
Defense: He played good defense sometimes, and when the going to tough, Pippen did the dirty work. Which is why Pippen had chronic back pain like Larry Bird. Jordan made foolish gambles on defense when roaming around like a free safety. It left the team open.

Great players changed the game. What did Jordan change? Only thing I can think of is being the very 1st megastar of basketball. It was megastars in other sports like Ali in boxing, Joe Dimagio in baseball, but Jordan was the 1st NBA megastar. Difference is Isaiah Thomas is a superstar, but Jordan is the megastar. The megastar panel switched from times past to Kobe to now Lebron. They always got the benefit of the doubt calls too. But my point is MJ was the 1st Megastar having made NIKE what it was and wearing longer shorts than other players. But I can’t think of no way how he changed the game. For instance: Wilt Chamberlain scored so much points, they put the 3 seconds in the key. Wilt was so tall that they extended the free-throw line back 2 feet because they said he was shooting layups. Iverson’s crossover was outlawed after he crossed up Jordan with it. Reggie Miller made flopping famous (not that is a good thing). But shorts and shoes did nothing for the game.

Game changers: The NBA expanded when the ABA came over. They inducted the 3-point line, and dunk contest from the ABA league. The NBA really did this to draw in crowds because scoring was down. ABA games had more fans than NBA games in the 1970s. Games in the 1960s had fastbreaks from out of bound plays. Scores were easily 120-140 in regulation. The NBA also started calling touch fouls, took away hand checking, and even decrease the backcourt violation from 10 seconds to 8 seconds. This was another attempt to increase scoring and make the game faster. Having said that, Michael played in a rougher time than LeBron no doubt, but Jordan knows nothing about zone defense, flopping, and refs fixing games. Plus players are more athletic now just like in football. Its much easier to have a season ending injury now because players are faster, bigger, and stronger.

Jordan had All star teams. He ruined his legacy by retiring. Bulls still made the 2nd round in 1994 without Jordan. In fact when Jordan missed a whole year to injury, the bulls still made the playoffs without him. Lebron however, takes Cavaliers to the finals with a  non-talent team. Then they was the worst team in the league without Lebron the next year.
1. Jordan got cut from HS team. Lebron comes out of HS playing at an AllStar level.
2. In some ways Lebron is better. Better rebounder and passer
3. Jordan couldn't dribble left. Lebron can.
Lebron is a better teammate. Lebron makes teammates play like they are allStars. Jordan never made anyone better.
4. Lebron has better personality. Jordan own teammates didn't like him. Lebron teammates actually hangout with him.
5. Look at the coaching staff Lebron had. Do you really think Michael could have went to the finals with 07 Cavs team? They had the same talent as the 02-03 Wizards and Jordan still missed the playoffs. Do you think Jordan could make it to the finals with David Blatt or Tyronn Lue? That would be like taking Doug Collins to the finals

Overall MJ is better but Lebron does have lots of quality MJ lacked. So I would say MJ would win in 1-on-1 against Lebron. But I would pick Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady, Kobe Bryant to beat Micheal Jordan.

Wizrards 2002-2003 roster: Bryon Russell, Kwame Brown (straight from HS), Brendon Haywood at center, Larry Hughes, Jarred Jerries, MJ, Christian Lattner, Tyron Lue, Jerry Stackhouse, Charles Oakley, Bobby Simmons, Etan Thomas, Jahidi White.

10/13 players were good players. They had all this on one team and still missed the playoffs in the weak eastern conference. I don't wanna hear excuses cuz this the Pros. No one made excuses for any other team that lost in the finals who had injured players. And if this lineup didn't work, you can blame that on Jordan too since he hand picked all these players. Oh maybe you forgot he was part owner of the team before he started playing. So where is this argument that Jordan makes players better? If Jordan is so great how come his kids suck at basketball? Lebron's kids are scouted by colleges and they not even teenagers yet. Look at Dell Curry, Tim Hardaway, Karl Malone, Joe Bryant, Jalen Rose's dad, Bill Walton and more who had kids go pro. How is the G.O.A.T. NBA player not able to coach someone to get better?

Don't tell me Jordan is a better teammate. Name one player who actually liked Jordan as a teammate? In fact name one player who liked Kobe, as a teammate since people say he just as good as MJ. Now....look at how well like Lebron is as a teammate. People have fun with Lebron. MJ and Kobe own teammates hate them.

People make all the excuses in the world for Jordan. People say he was on a developing team. Ok Lebron took a developing Cavs to the finals in '07. He was only 21. When he lost people bashed him. When Jordan lost n the playoffs at 24 people said he was too young. Lebron didn't have college experience like MJ and still went to the finals at an early age. But oh we baby Jordan tho. People idolize this man as if he invented basketball. If I were to play NBA 2k(lets face it none of us are never gonna play in the NBA or coach), and I had to chose one player between Micheal Jordan, Kobe, Iverson, Lebron, Tracy McGrady, Magic Johnson, Julius Irving, I would chose T-Mac.

9*
People baby Jordan. When Jordan lost in the playoffs from his 2nd - 6th years in the league people said he was too young. But he was much older than Lebron who took a mediocre Cavs team to the Finals in 2007. Yet people said he was never gonna be Jordan yet he was only 22. Why do people make excuses for Jordan all the time?  In fact, Lebron’s team was about the same amount of talent as the 2002/03 Wizards and still went to the Finals. I’m sure Lebron could of made the team better and made the finals.

10*
I love how Lebron got dissed by Jordan after people compared him to MJ, and spends his entire career making sure every team Jordan touched will never get a ring LOL

11*
He disses his own fans who made him the billionaire that he is. He doesn’t do anything in poor communities and doesn’t care about people being killed over his shoes.. This just ads to the fact that Lebron is a better father, player, friend, charismatic, leader, teammate, and role model than Jordan or Kobe

12*
LeBron grew up an MJ fan, but for whatever reason Jordan started hating him after 5 years in the league. It could not be the MJ-like references by the media cuz Iverson, Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, Kobe and others have all been compared to Jordan. But I find it ironic how people act like Lebron is the only one to wear #23. Irony is even though people say he will never be as good as Micheal Jordan, Lebron spends his entire career making sure every team Jordan touched(Bulls, Wizards, Bobcats) don’t make or win a ring.

13*
Jordan's kids so sorry they don't even want them at Rucker Park

14*
LeBron winning a championship in Cleveland, in the title drought state of Ohio, tops everything Michael Jordan ever did. Not to mention with Tyron Lue coaching, and players nobody wanted, and against the best team in the history of the NBA, and being down 3-1.

15*
If Curry and Lebron switched teams, the Warriors would win another title but the Cavs would be a first round loss at best.

16*
Curry can shoot and dribble. But Lebron plays 4 positions, can pass like Magic Johnson, assign positions on floor, guard the best player on the team, run the offense plays, and coach. Lebron is clearly the better player. Even Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant didn't do all that.

17*
If Lebron had Kobe or Jordan's team and coaching staff he'd have like 9 rings by now. Jordan or Kobe would not take David Blatt or Tyron Lue to the finals and in their first year coaching at that.

Micheal Jordan never did anything like giving back to the community. Instead he treated fans like hated step kids. And people still call this man G.O.A.T. when skill wise, points wise, ring wise, record wise, professional wise, respect wise, humble wise....he is no where near the greatest of all time.

18*
If Lebron shot as much as Jordan did he would of been done passed this up. Jordan was a one dimensional player. Lebron play defense, rebounds, passes, play 4 positions sometimes 5 and still scores a lot. He's the most talented player the league has ever seen. You gotta give the man his props.

How Jordan Jockers see MJ

Coach Jordan draws up a play in the timeout. Jordan inbounds the ball to Jordan. Jordan brings the ball up court. Jordan sets a pick for Jordan. Jordan comes off screen and dishes it down low to Jordan for a quick two points.

On defense
Jordan guards the inbound pass. The guy passes but doesn’t see Jordan standing there too. So he passes it across court to only find that Jordan is guarding the small forward. Small forward looks to pass it to the center but Jordan’s ball denial is too great. Finally he passes it to the wide open Power forward, but wait it’s a bait Jordan comes outta nowhere and steals it, HE COULD GO ALL THE WAY… Jordan with the slammmm dunk. TOUCHDOWN Chicago Bulls!
