I've decided to prove how much android phones suck! #1
They get viruses and malware. How can a phone get a virus? It's a phone not a computer.

Opened ended OS software sucks. They have the same approach as Microsoft allowing any 2-cent tech company to use their software, and have the same problems as Microsoft too...fragmentation, viruses, and poor manufactured hardware. That's why android and Windows (PC and phones) suck.

They have a lot of useless features like a stylus to type with. Huh! I'm not handicap. I have working fingers. Or run two apps on the same screen. That's dumb! A wave to answer the phone, like that is a useful feature. Face recognition to unlock. Nice all a thief needs is a picture of you to get inside your phone. To make matters worse is millions are spent to develop these features and users never even use them.

Soon as a new one come out the old one is worthless. That means they don't hold value. That's cuz they're trash. My 64GB iPhone 4S still worth at least $250 three years after it was released.

The 40+ manufacturers total to over 2,500(including tablets) products licensed by android. However, Apple only has a total of 18 products licensed. Yet Apple is worth 5x more money than android. Android ought to be ashamed to boast about having more products in the market. That's why you don't spend millions of dollars on phones and then give them away. The company is losing money.

Customization is nice but it allows for more things to break. These include themes and design. Mistypes and mistaps are frequent. The “Android experience” varied depending on manufacturer. All the different android skins makes it hard to use another android device, or help a friend learn theirs. SenseUI, TouchWiz, and MotoBlur are all different. TouchWiz looks like an iPhone and MotoBlur is a mess with all their social networking widgets. These skins load on top of Android making it slower.

Users have no idea what tech really is. People bragged on screen size for years, but said iPhone copied because they increased the screen size. That is not a feature. It's like bragging on a bigger size TV. Most users are wowed by hardware numbers for instance: 3GB of DDr3 RAM, when they have no clue what RAM or DDr3 even means. Like you need 3GB of RAM to text. (Hint, more RAM means more things you can do at once) It will never get any faster than it is now. But Android will keep propping up specs because all they see is numbers. Not knowing the phone doesn't even run off the 8 core processor it boasts to have. It usually only uses 2 cores. Making it outperformed by the lessor beefed up iPhone with only 2 cores and far less RAM.
High number specs don't make the phone better. Apple purposely used an 8mp camera 4 years straight because camera phones with 20mp can't seem to make better quality pictures than an 8mp camera. No one ever said my phone experience was better because I have 3GB of RAM instead of 2.5GB. iPhone does more with less specs. Apple is the Nissan GTR of tech. They beat bigger competitors with much weaker components. And laughing at Apple paying Samsung for parts is condescending. When you pay someone to do a job for you, they work for you!

Manufacturers will always back Apple. You go to Fry's, Target, Wal-Mart, even department stores like JC Penny, you will see an iPhone/iPod/iPad section for all kinds of cases, gadgets, charging ports. And not hand-me-down tech, but high quality stuff like BOSE audio port, or TIMEX iPhone dock. You get way more opportunity with Apple to expand. You can get a guitar and buy an port to turn your iPhone/iPad into a amplifier. You can buy a police scanner that plugs right into the phone. You can buy a heart monitor. I have a helicopter that I can fly with my iPhone. Lots of other things too like starting a Chevy Cruse, opening garage door, piano kits, Karaoke player, DJ board, Blood pressure monitor…the list goes on
Sucks trying to buy extra stuff for your LG G3, HTC Evo, Google Nexus, HTC M8 phone in a store that only has limited android casing for Samsung because it is the biggest android seller. But the sizes don't fit the Note series, or the Edge series. Even if you do have the correct phone, you can't buy any attachments add ons like the thousands iPhone users have access to. So people who claim Android can do more than iPhone have no idea what an iPhone can do.

Phandroids think their phone is different, but its the same as every other 1000 other android products on the market. How is that unique? Galaxy looks the same since they changed the layout on s2. (The one they got sued for copying Apple's layout. And I certainly expect Galaxy s6 to draw lawsuits. They copied the UI, casing, functionality, placement of the headphone jack, antenna, even the pay name) Androids all look the same. But you think icons on a screen on the iPhone make it look the same. As if you don't have apps on your screen dumb dumb. To me all android screens look the same. There's more hidden tech on an iPhone than all the tech combined in your precious android device.
I thought customization was cool until I saw how ugly it was on the android phones, and how problem plagued it is, and slows the phone down. The software is horrible compared to iOS. I went to school for computer programming so I'm a tech guy. Android is vulnerable and so many flaws. Being an open source is not a feature, it's a liability that people don't understand. That's why the phones get hacked, fragmentation, and viruses so much. And they have the nerve to have Google Wallet, Samsung pay, and fingerprints on a phone with so many security issues that even the government said it was unsafe to use.
I like iOS cuz its faster, safer, get the new apps a year sometimes before android does, a humongous section of cases, hardware addons, exclusive apps, and more. I understand you like the hardware in android phones, but its a phone, not a computer. Those numbers dont matter in a phone. people who don't know tech are wowed by 3gb of DDR3 RAM, but don't even know what DDr3 means or even RAM. iPhone does more with less tech. That's why Android has 2x more RAM, processor speed, and camera pixels, but still loads slower, processes data slower, and side by side you can't tell the difference between 8mp and 16mp. That's why I like iPhone. They are great with small numbers. But hey buy whatever makes you happy.

Google hasn't done anything right since google.com. Even that was a ripoff....Ask.com and Yahoo.com that was already out in the 1990s. Youtube has gotten worse sense google bought it. Android still doesn't have a problem free software. Even this site was a pain to type on. You can't find any of the headers, tabs to the page you looking for, I have to go through a series of pages just to get to the one page I was looking for.
What's crazy is people laughed at AppleStore years ago for having a high percentage of paid apps and having made people pay for music, then the AndroidMarket was scrapped for GooglePlay. An exact copycay of the AppleStore. What's worse is google customers are also marketed by Google, without their knowing. Google harnesses their data and sells it to the CIA and NSA. Known fact that CIA is working on suing Apple for making it hard to hack iOS 8. With Apple you are the customer. With Google you are the product.

I thought customization was cool until I saw how ugly it was on the android phones, and how problem plagued it is, and slows the phone down. The software is horrible compared to iOS. I went to school for computer programming so I'm a tech guy. Android is vulnerable and so many flaws. Being an open source is not a feature, it's a liability that people don't understand. That's why the phones get hacked, fragmentation, and viruses so much. And they have the nerve to have Google Wallet, Samsung pay, and fingerprints on a phone with so many security issues that even the government said it was unsafe to use.

I like iOS cuz its faster, safer, get the new apps a year sometimes before android does, a humongous section of cases, hardware addons, exclusive apps, and more. I understand you like the hardware in android phones, but its a phone, not a computer. Those numbers dont matter in a phone. people who don't know tech are wowed by 3gb of DDR3 RAM, but don't even know what DDr3 means or even RAM. iPhone does more with less tech. That's why Android has 2x more RAM, processor speed, and camera pixels, but still loads slower, processes data slower, and side by side you can't tell the difference between 8mp and 16mp. That's why I like iPhone. They are great with small numbers. But hey buy whatever makes you happy.

1. All phones can be hacked. However, android users tend to see their phone more as a computer, in a sense. Your argument is invalid because you are under the conviction that an iPhone is a phone, therefore android must be a phone too. However, androids are not just phones, no sir. Android devices are computer, they are designed to be powerful computational devices. Apple makes phones. Google makes smartphones. In my ROCK voice “IT doesn’t matter what kind of android device it is”. A phone should not lose data, contacts, pictures, get viruses. Yes I know Apple can get hacked or viruses, but look how few times that happens compared to the millions of times it happens to PCs and android. Also, not all androids have removable batteries. Or did you not know that. The ones that do brag on it, but I’ve always seen people snap galaxies apart, pop the battery out, put it in, and soft boot it, So yeah their batteries suck is the reason you can remove pieces. Being an Android user now for some time, I have an LG Android smartphone that have given me almost endless issues since first buying it. My carrier is Tracfone (bad call), and in the past I had blamed them for some of my numerous issues with the phone, but I am starting to believe that it may be the OS itself causing my problems,
While I cannot attest to Android devices having a shorter lifespan than other phones, nor being easier to break if dropped, but I do know that ANY phones can break if dropped without a case.
As well, I have never been a huge fan of Google as an entity in the computing world, but cannot honestly tie that into my concerns either.
My main issue has been that the phone seems to somehow hemorrhage my Mobile Data, even when it is not being used at all. This is a concerning issue with Tracfone, because they do not offer an unlimited data plan of any kind, so you have to purchase Mobile Data from them to be able to use the internet when not connected to a WiFi network.
You see, what I do is that I use the data while at work sometimes to watch videos and search the internet, and then when I am about to go home at night, I check the remaining balance, and then turn off Mobile Data completely before powering down the phone. Then, when I get home I power it back up, and check the balance again before connecting it to the charger, and it has somehow lost up to several megabytes of data during the ride home, even though it was not even turned on.
At first, I blamed Tracfone, a notoriously half baked cellular provider, thinking they were stealing data from my phone to force me to purchase more from them, but recently I have begun to think it is the device itself doing this. If I find out that this is the case then I will need buy another Android, and may very well switch over to Apple phones from here forward!!
PS. I am not being 'butthurt' here, just relaying my experiences.
